THE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE

People come into your life for a Reason, a Season or for a Lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a reason, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through
a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, intellectually or spiritually. They may be seen as God sent, and they really are! They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, all of a sudden, without any wrong-doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person(s) will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, sometimes they walk away, and sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What you must realize is that your need have been met, your desire fulfilled, their work is done, the prayer you sent up has been answered and it’s time to move on.

Meanwhile, people do come into your life for a season. Because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, remember, it will take only for a season: maybe through school, through a phase, your career, a transition, an adventure, etc., they don’t last beyond the season.

However, lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you must build upon in order to have solid mental, emotional, spiritual, financial or social foundations. So, learn to accept these lessons (if you are not doing so already), love these persons, and put what you have learnt to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. They come in various forms but, are mostly rare as privileges.

In all, people in your life are treasures sent from Heaven: treasure them. They are angels sent to you and me to help us in our walk on earth. Acknowledge them as much as you can for they are pillars of life.

Show some love and share with someone.
